Weekend Madness

This last weekend was great. It was great because Scott and I got to spend a lot of time together! We were able to do a lot of fun things, and I actually had my camera. Here is what we were up to:

Friday night we went and got chinese at the Snow Dragon, and we went grocery shopping at Wal-Mart for what we did on Saturday. :) We got back to my apartment and somehow...I am still not quite sure how...convinced Scott to watch "Twilight" with me! Look at how excited he is... :)

I'm thinking these homemade oreos might have helped convince him...maybe. :)

Here is us and because my mom loves it when we pull faces in pictures...here is one for her:normal faces :)

On Saturday, we went up north to meet Scott's old companion Jacob and his new fiance Amy to have a picnic at a park in Provo and fly kites. Here are a few kite flying pictures!

Jacob and Scott prepping the kites.

It was a fun date and a fun weekend! We got home that night and ate pizza and watched "New Moon". He's good to put up with me!

Life Lately!

It's been a couple weeks. Scott had Spring Break from Snow College, so we have been spending all the time we can together! We have also both been busy with work, internship, and wedding plans. In the midst of all of this, big decisions have been made! (Well, big decisions for us :) ) Scott and I have figured out what the next step in our lives is going to be, and....we are moving to REXBURG, IDAHO! Scott will be attending BYU-Idaho, and I will be working...somewhere :) We have spent a lot of time talking, thinking, and praying about the decision, and we feel like that's where we are supposed to be.

Look at how gorgeous the Rexburg Temple is...who wouldn't want to live around that? :)

For now, the plan is to get hitched and stick around Ephraim and work until August! We'll then head up to Idaho and hang around for at least a couple of years while Scott gets educated :) We are totally pumped for our new adventure!
In life now...a lot has happened in the last couple of weeks! However, I have been a horrible picture taker, so this is the only picture from our happenings! Scott's sister, Emily, was Miss Moroni for the 2009 year, so we went to see her final walk as queen last weekend. Here is a picture of my future family...this was the only semi normal picture of the bunch :)

"Hiking" Maple Canyon

Scott and I had this great idea Saturday to go hike Maple Canyon! We packed a little picnic, laced up our tennis shoes, and headed in. Here is a shot of us going in...

What a stud. :)

One day I'll be able to take a picture and look half way normal...I promise :)

We didn't anticipate how cold it was going to be or how much snow there would be on the ground...but it was a blast! Look at the snow!!

We thought there were benches or tables up the canyon, but after 30 minutes of hiking there was nothing. We decided to head back and eat at Scott's car. (Okay, let's be honest...hiking thirty minutes would not be bad, but in Lisa's book it was exhausting! Yes, I am aware of how pathetic that sounds. :) )

eating our picnic on Scott's car! It was a fun day!

Hair Cut

Scott and I have talked about how I'll cut his hair once we are married, and Scott's hair has been getting pretty long lately. The last few days he has made some comment about his hair, and with every comment he has made some joking comment about how I should cut it. I usually just brush it off (because seriously, who would want ME to attempt something like that? :) ). Well, last night at 9:30 I said I would do it. I think I kind of shook up Scott...he didn't think I would agree to it! He decided to let me try (because first, he has a few of those things called hats...:) and second, because he was going home to his mom the next day, and she could repair the damage :) ). Here is a before picture...
Don't worry it only took about 2 hours to cut his hair because I was so paranoid, but I think it turned out pretty well, see? :)
Then...here are ust some shots of us :)

After the hair cut we made and ate carmel popcorn and played battleship! We took like six pictures of that, but they turned out with either our eyes shut or not looking at the camera at all! Engagement pictures are going to be a BLAST. ha! :)
