Cooper Attends Q and U's Wedding!

In Kindergarten, the kids attend the wedding of the letter's Q and U! There are so many words they can make, when they are married to each other! The wedding was held on Valentine's Day! I tried to convince Cooper to dress up for the wedding (like they suggested). He compromised, and said he would wear a button down shirt--but that was it! He had a blast!

Quinn is 3!!!

Quinn turned 3 years old! We were planning on going on a couple's trip and leaving on his birthday, so we celebrated a couple days earlier! Quinn had such a fun birthday, and it was so fun seeing how excited he was about EVERYTHING! I found some Star Wars masks on clearance, we got some glow stick light sabers and party supplies from Dollar Tree--it was perfect!

We got day old doughnuts from Wal-Mart for breakfast, and had chocolate milk and bananas to go with them!

Lucy was fighting a nasty sickness, so she snuggled with dad almost all morning!

Masks and lightsabers!

Quinn was such a good sport to sit home all day with his gifts and party stuff and wait for everyone else to get home from school! As soon as everyone was home, we started opening gifts! Quinn got a lot of awesome stuff--a balance bike, black panther shirt, juice boxes and pringles, a black panther pillowcase, Star Wars walkie talkies and a dinosaur book! Quinn had the best facial expressions as he opened presents--he was SO excited!

My mom and dad ran down Quinn's presents on his birthday. We were all so sick, and my dad hasn't had his childhood vaccinations yet, so we didn't dare have him come in. My parents were so gracious to bring all of us lunch, dessert, and Quinn gifts...and they didn't get to come inside and enjoy it with us!

My dad built Quinn a car track that he has played with every single day! There is a battle between siblings over who gets to race and play. Two weeks later, and it is still the hot ticket item!

We gave Quinn the option of having any kind of food for dinner--McDonald's happy meals! Everyone was feeling sick--including mom and dad--so we kept it a night at home, and we brought home our McDonald's to eat. The kids were totally okay with it!

Quinn got a Millennium Falcon birthday cake! He blew out his candles in one giant breath, with no problem!

Jemma's 1st Junior Jazz Performance

Reading Time!

We try really hard to have reading time, and everyone gets involved!

When the kids get book orders, we give them $5 each to get a new book. Cooper got a super cool dinosaur book that came with 3-D glasses!

Oh, and a sleepy Quinny. Some days we just need a nap.
