Best Friends

Yes, that's right, our little girl loves this furry, orange/pink Dr. Suess character. Out of ALL of her stuffed animals, this is her favorite. I don't understand her love. When she sees Wocket, she goes crazy!! If she is far away from him, she will flip onto her knees and start crawling!

My 24th Birthday

Oh 24, you make me sound so old! I still feel like I am 16, driving around town in my Mazda 626, in high school, going on dates, not worried about anything...then again...24 year old me would know that driving around town costs money in gas. And 24 year old me has a few more cares than that. :) Okay, maybe I'm feeling 24!

Macey, after opening presents!

I had a wonderful birthday (last Thursday :) ). Scott decorated for my birthday the night before, and we opened up presents that morning. After opening presents, Scott took me out to breakfast! We went to Paradise Donuts in town (one of our favorite spots)! We used our starving student card, and only spent a couple dollars.

These two are twins! They do things just alike, and in this case, they do them at the same time!

We spent the day shopping :) and walked around the park. That night for dinner, we got dressed up and went to Gringos for dinner. Yum! (Oh, and check out my hot dates!)

(Oh, and every time we go out to eat with Macey, she is given crayons and a menu. Really? She looks bigger, but really? This is generally what happens to the menu...after screaming because we won't give it to her... :) )

After dinner, we came back to the apartment for cake--angel food cake with berries and a pineapple/cool whip frosting--YUM! (Oh, and for the first time, ever, I was able to blow all the candles out in one blow! Woohoo!)

One Little Monkey Jumping on the Bed!

She is into EVERYTHING!

That's right: Macey is interested in everything that could make a mess. I turn around for two seconds, and she is across the room with messes left behind her. She has lately found our hallway, and that the hallway leads to a bunch of rooms with fun stuff. Her favorite place? The bathroom.
Oh, and a quick picture from nap time today. She may be a terror, at times, but she makes life interesting, fun, and an adventure. Oh and I love that she sleeps on her tummy with her bum in the air--too cute!

Future Plans

There is a popular quote by Eleanor Roosevelt that states, "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."

Well, Scott and I have dreamt a lot over the past couple of years about our future. We have dreamt, planned, hoped, prayed, fasted, listened, prayed some more, exercised faith, cried, endured, prayed even more, and waited.

We waited for today. Scott got the job!

Scott is an official employee of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. We don't know where we will be moving yet, but we know Scott has a job! We will find out before May 16th.

We feel so extremely grateful and blessed. First, thank you for all the prayers that were said in our behalf. We know that prayers are answered. We also have an increased testimony of family and friends, whose faith never faltered.

We are SO excited for this new adventure--the good and the bad (even though, this is such great news...I'm pretty sure there is no bad!) We dreamed for so long, and I am so glad, that as Eleanor Roosevelt said, the future is in our hands.

Easter

Macey woke up early Easter morning! She drank a quick bottle in our bed, then we went to see if the Easter bunny found us in Rexburg, Idaho! :)

I wish I could write and say we had the best Easter, but I'll be honest, it was a rough Easter. I was up the night before with the 24 hour stomach flu. The stomach flu went into Sunday afternoon.

Macey fell Sunday afternoon. She moves so quickly, and our backs were turned for only a few seconds. She started screaming. We turned to find her laying on top of a toy. We ran to her, her mouth was bleeding, and she had chipped her front tooth. She sucked on a cold wash rag, and the bleeding soon stopped. We took her to the dentist for the first time on Monday, and everything seems to be okay. She just has a chipped front tooth and a little bit of sensitivity! At least it's her baby tooth, and she'll get another one in 4 years or so. By then, the chip might even be smoothed out. It was traumatizing, to say the least :)

Someone LOVES peeps! Pink peeps :) That was the only sweet thing she got for Easter. I think she has only eaten 2 total since she got them, but it was fun to watch her enjoy them!

The best part of Easter? How cute Macey looked! (I told Scott when I put Macey in a white dress that something was going to happen. A 10 month old can't wear a white dress and keep it white all day! Mom sense kicked in, I guess. I spent the night getting the blood out of her new white dress :) )

Taking a nap after a long day at church. (We are pretty sure Macey was on a sugar high from the peep she ate!) She crashed when we got home. (Oh, and don't you love how she sleeps now? She will not sleep unless she is on her stomach or side with a blanket. Love this girl!)

Bath Time

First, I must give credit to my brother-in-law, Tom. He inspired (??) Scott to enjoy bath time a little more. I walked into bath time tonight to find dad in his bathing suit and Macey going crazy. Scott gives Macey her bath every night. (It gives me time to relax/make dinner.) Macey loves bath time, and she loathes getting out of the tub. She also loves her dad, so you can imagine how awesome she thought this was!

Oh, and sorry about the hair. I promise her hair doesn't look like this everyday. She sported some piggy tails today, and her hair just kind of stayed when we took out the elastics :)

Graduation

Scott graduated from BYU-Idaho this past weekend! He officially has a Bachelor's Degree! He graduated with a degree in Communication, emphasis in Visual Communication, module in Advertising, and he minored in Spanish! Phew, he did it!

Scott opening presents that morning. I think Macey liked his gifts more than he did :)

The Bagley clan came to celebrate! The weather was horrible the day he graduated. It snowed, wind blew, and it was cold! I think a higher power was trying to remind the graduates where they really graduated from: Rexburg, Idaho!

Scott attended the college graduation at the new I Center (it's gorgeous--almost like a mini conference center!). I was so grateful to have the Bagley family there! Macey should have gone to sleep at 6:00...and that's when the graduation started. We didn't get home until 9:30...it was a long night for Macey Claire! She eventually collapsed at 8:00 for about 30 minutes. Thank goodness!

Scott walking across the stage. Wait, were you a little distracted? :) This fellow stepped out right in front of me when I went to take the picture. Lucky him; He will be a part of this memory forever :)

I just want to squeeze one more "I am so proud of Scott Bagley" in while I can. Because, I really am! Way to go!
