Halloween!

Halloween 2023!! We had a busy and fun Halloween day! The kids got to dress up and wear their costumes to school, and Harper and I were able to go after lunch to the big kids' costume parade!

Macey borrowed one of the boys' football jerseys from school, and she and her friends all dressed as South Sevier football players" for Halloween!

Cooper wanted to be an "Elf of the Shelf" for Halloween. I made him this costume from scratch and no pattern. It is definitely not perfect, but i think it worked!

Jemma dressed as Evie, from the movie "Descendents"!

Quinn dressed as a magician for Halloween! Say hello to "The Great Quinn-zini"!

And Lucy dressed as Cinderella for Halloween!

Group shot!

Costume parade! We spotted all of the Elementary Schoolers!

That evening, our ward had a quick chili dinner and trunk-or-treat in the parking lot of the church!

Our van for the trunk-or-treat! Scott drew this. We had a bluetooth speaker with Mandalorian music playing the whole time and battery powered Christmas lights!

Macey went out trick-or-treating with her friends. They stopped at an ice cream spot in town for free ice cream, and they stopped by our house for a quick bathroom break! We took a fast picture while they were at our house!

Carving Pumpkins!

We carved our pumpkins! The kids all drew their jack-o-lantern faces, and Scott helped them carve the faces! We listened to our Halloween playlist, and the kids had so much fun!

Harper's Halloween Day at Preschool!

Harper and her 3 year-old preschool class got to dress up in their costumes the day before Halloween started! Harper was a tiger!

Fall Break in St. George!

We were able to get away for a couple of days for Fall Break! We went down to St. George, and it was wonderful to soak in those last couple of warm summer days! We got there late afternoon, and we took off immediately for the pool!

Owen was ready to jump in and play in the water!

...on the other hand, Charlie was not quite sure about the pool...

Our rental had a little Pac Man machine. To say Cooper was obsessed with this game, would be an understatement! He spent all his free seconds trying to get further in the game. Everyone wanted a chance to play it, though, including Owen and Charlie!

Quinn and Macey left us notes on our bedroom door. Quinn's note made me chuckle!

After breakfast on Monday, we took the kids to Five Below for the first time. They each picked out something. Quinn picked out a kit where he chisled dragon pieces out from eggs, and then he got to build a dragon. He had to start working on it right away!

While the twins napped, we played card games in the family room!

We spent the rest of the afternoon at the pool!

We got Papa Johns for dinner!

I found this artwork that Lucy made after swimming!

We checked out of our rental on Tuesday morning, and we headed over to the St. George Temple. We had reservations to take a tour through the Open House of the St. George Temple, and the kids were so excited!

After the Open House, we grabbed a quick lunch at Chick-fil-a, and we headed back home!
