Another Random March Post

I just looked through all my pictures, and I have so many random pictures that I want to post! I don't feel like any of them are cohesive; hence, my random picture posts :)

One day, Macey walked around for about 30 minutes with her glass and "hat" on. She was very serious about wearing them, and she looked especially cute. She deserved a picture to document her cuteness!

Scott had to work until 6:45 one night, so I was trying to pull together a late dinner for the adults and a couple of cranky kids. I was trying to do too many things at once, and I didn't notice that the kids found all of Scott's Pioneer Trek flyers and had a snowball fight. Well, Macey had a snow fight, and Cooper shoved all the crumpled flyers back into my diaper bag. (What a good cleaner-upper!) Scott reassured me that he didn't need them anymore when he got home. Phew!

Here is another one of a very cute girl:

I ordered something offline, and it came in a 12" x 12" box...it was tiny! Cooper took that box with him everywhere he went for the next couple of days. His little body fit right into it, and he was extremely content!

One afternoon, Cooper went into Scott's clothes, and he came out with his NC State football jersey. He followed me around until I put it on him. He then proceeded to wear it around the house for 15 minutes, growling everywhere he went!

Cooper learned a new trick, and I'm not sure I like it! There is always a little commotion before Macey and Coop go to sleep. I'm just always happy when they go to sleep. Well, Cooper has figured out how to squeeze his sippy cups (or bang his sippy cups) through the bars on his crib. He was pretty proud of himself when I caught him.

Like Father, Like Son

Cooper is obsessed with Scott. I think he must be able to sense testosterone, or something! As soon as Scott comes home, Cooper is glued to his side the rest of the night. The other Sunday, after church, Cooper insisted on wearing his dad's Sunday socks. He wore them for about four hours...literally! At one point, he even dragged his dad's shoes out of the closet, and he tried to put them on. Secretly, and maybe not so secretly :), I think Scott loves it!

Frozen Night!

I think most people have probably had a "Frozen" night by now! We were lucky, and our pre-ordered copy of "Frozen" actually showed up a day before it hit stores! I hid the package as soon as I saw it, and I decided to make a pizza for dinner. We set up a picnic dinner, and the kids were totally excited for the movie!

When Macey realized what she was watching...this was the face we saw:

By the end of the movie, the kids were exhausted! It was past their bedtime, and it definitely showed!

March Pictures

One afternoon, after much begging, Macey and Cooper watched "Wreck it Ralph". We popped popcorn in our popcorn popper--the kids loved it! What I didn't love? Cleaning up the popcorn after they were done! At least they had fun :)

From what I hear, it's more fun riding the horse, than being the horse... :)

Cooper is my buddy. He follows me around the house all day long!

Macey and I made cupcakes for Grandpa Bagley's birthday. Macey had her own pan that she filled with her "cakes". We had a big picnic when we were done, and we ALL enjoyed Macey's "cakes".

Macey walked around with these glasses and her "hat" most of the morning. What a stylish girl!

We were watching home movies today on Scott's lap top. Macey was sitting on my lap. She reached over to show me something "So funny!". She put her elbow and all her weight on my sternum, and it hurt! I told her that it hurt, and after gasping in pain, I asked "What was so funny? What do you want?" She thought for a second, turned to me and said "chocolate milk." Funny girl! And no worries, she got her chocolate milk!

Baby #3 is a GIRL!!!

I just realized that I didn't post the first ultrasound picture we have of our baby GIRL! Here she is at 10 weeks:

We have been looking forward to the gender ultrasound for a while! Scott and I haven't really felt that this baby would be a boy/girl. We have both wavered back and forth. I thought for sure I was having a boy for several weeks, and I convinced Scott it was a boy too. We have a girl and a boy, and they are both so fun! We didn't prefer one over the other. We were really just excited to find out which we would be having again!

About a week before the ultrasound, we were sitting at dinner. On and off, Scott and I have asked Macey if she thought the baby in mommy's tummy was a boy or a girl. Her answers changed constantly, but it was fun to ask! We were sitting at dinner. It had been a stressful night, and I had just sat down at the dinner table. We had already said a prayer on the food. In the middle of eating, Macey stops, looks at me, and says "Girl. Girl." I acknowledged that she was saying girl, but I asked what girl she was talking about. Macey then said "Girl, pray. Girl, pray." I asked what girl she wanted to pray for. She pointed to her tummy, and I realized she was talking about the baby. I asked if she wanted to pray for the baby girl in my tummy, and she excitedly said, "Yeah!"

I felt right then that it was a baby girl. (You can ask Scott--I even started crying!) So, the week before the ultrasound, I told people I thought it was a girl. Now that it's real, I love that we have a special story to welcome her to our family! I wouldn't be surprised if the spirit of our little girl has been around our home, so it makes sense that the kids can sense that!

It was an exciting ultrasound (and a long one...)! I had a ultrasound tech student do the ultrasound first, but in the 30 minutes she did it, she didn't tell me a gender. I did hear the heartbeat and see an incredibly active little baby. (I mean, she kept grabbing her feet and rocking back and forth, she stuck out her tongue, wrapped her arms around her face. She was constantly moving. The technician kept commenting on how active she was. I wanted to ask her if she had seen my other kids. :) )

After 30 minutes, the real technician kicked in, and she immediately told me it was a girl. She said there was no doubting it! She is perfect! I got to see that her abdomen in measuring 2.5 weeks ahead of schedule (yay, for a big healthy girl!), and everything else was pretty close to the estimated due date (actually a few days ahead of the estimated due date!). Anatomically, she was perfect. It was a great visit!

Our kids are always too active to get the good, profile shot of their face, or cute hands or feet pictures, but here are the two pictures we got!

Macey Memory!

Macey just walked out in my sunday shoes, a big necklace on, putting on chap stick. She told me that she is going to the temple, and she is going to see Jesus. Funny girl!

Primary Songs

Lately, we have been trying to read scriptures regularly with the kids. We have a Book of Mormon quiet book we have been using, and Macey is absorbing all of it! Now, along with reading, as a nightly ritual, we have to sing this song. Macey is starting to pick up on the key words and sing along!

I asked if she wanted to sing "Book of Mormon Stories" again, and I was told we needed to sing the popcorn song. Enjoy!

Go Rams!

Both the boy's and girl's basketball teams from South Sevier High School made it to the State playoffs for 2A basketball this year! The school was ecstatic. So much so, that they released everyone early from school on Thursday and Friday just so they could go to the game! We were so excited, with diaper bags packed, we met Scott at work, and we headed to the game!

Macey loved the girls (the cheerleaders and the drill team dancers) and the music (pep band). She had little tolerance for the game, so she played with stickers, ate snacks and played games on our Kindle. Cooper was VERY into the basketball game, which made his dad proud.

Our girl's team took 3rd in state for 2A, and our boys took 4th in state. Proud to be a ram!

Sibling Love

I was going through pictures on my camera the other day, loading some on to our external hard drive, and then deleting the pictures off the camera. I ran across this picture, realized it hadn't made it onto the blog, and decided this picture needed it's own post!

These two love each other...a lot. Sometimes Macey loves Cooper a little too much. Don't worry, though, he lets her know when he has had enough!
