Before we left for Harper's dance Recital, she wanted a quick snuggle with Mom. She looked so adorable in her costume!
The boys ultimate punishment is to tell them to go back to the beds and just sit on time out. Sometimes they will walk themselves to time out (crying, usually) but most of the time, I walk them back to their room. Giving up naps has been hard, and if I leave them alone, in the afternoon, for longer than 5 minutes, they will definitely go to sleep! Sorry, Charlie!
Macey wrote this short story, and the ending made me laugh out loud! Sometimes I feel like God sent me to the DI, too. Haha!
Since Scott's Dad's passing, we have been finding pennies everywhere! They seem to be perfectly placed, on days that are hard, to remind us he is there for the hard stuff. For many years, any loose change we find on the ground, we put in small jars for kids to collect money to serve missions and go to college. All these magical pennies have made their way into mission jars, but it's so comforting, feeling that he is aware of us. This penny was found on the floor, in the front of Scott's classroom on a hard day.
I know this is a sleeping Owen because he is very possessive of those Paw Patrol slippers! They are "Owie's s-wippers!"
Watching these boys dress up is so fun!
Harper learned about firefighters at preschool!
They had to pull out their special binoculars to be able to see the helicopters in the sky!
Jemma's dance team at her last dance competition!
This paper made it's way home from school, from Cooper's desk! A couple phrases made me laugh!
Hanging out with the boys downstairs...and trying to get them to nap! Owen fell asleep first and then Charlie. Charlie jumped all over me until he collapsed, sleeping!
Owen drew a monster! "Ah! Scary!"
Cooper, building card houses out of uno cards!
A couple boys, playing in rocks!
