A Lucy Conversation

Scott: "Lucy, you are so high maintenance..."
Lucy: "Yeah. And I'm really hungry too!"

Lisa's 34th Birthday!

My birthday was a couple days after Easter--it was a busy first week in the new house!

One of the twins' favorite past times is pushing the buttons on the electric fireplace. It drives me a little bonkers, but they love it! As long as it's not blowing out heat, I'm okay with it!

My birthday was full of love, gifts and time. My only request was that I didn't have to make my own birthday cake--and I didn't have to! It ended with cake and ice cream, and then I got to go to Quinn's first baseball game, solo! (It was freezing and rainy, so it was a good thing the littles stayed home and rested!)

Harper Memory

Harper's Prayer:
Me: "Help me to go to sleep"
Harper: "run"
Me: "No. Help me to sleep..."
Harper: "play with Lucy..."
Me: "No. Help me to sleep..."
Harper: "Bless Grandma and Grandpa"
Me: "Alright...in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."

Quinn's Last Kindergarten Field Trip

Quinn was supposed to have a field trip in October--right in the middle of our family quarantine for COVID. He was so bummed that he was going to miss it--and then they had to reschedule! They pushed it until the end of the school year. His whole class walked to our post office and local grocery store--to learn how everything works. They got their own sugar cookie at the very end!

Easter!

We celebrated Easter a few days after we moved into our new home! I literally had to unpack and move around boxes just so we would have a space to celebrate! Thank goodness for that Easter Bunny--because of him, I finally had a functioning room in our new home!

Ready for church!

What happens when you have 6 older siblings--train tracks become a crown for "King Owen".

Settling In!

We did a big shopping trip to Sam's Club after we moved in! We are a two cart family at Sam's Club--look at how cute these kids are!

The week before we moved, Jemma lost her 8th tooth! (She is officially caught up to Cooper!) Scott and I were exhausted and surviving. Scott thought he put 4 quarters in Jemma's tooth pillow--but one of them was a nickel. When Jemma woke up the next morning and pointed it out, I couldn't stop laughing!! She only got $.80, instead of the typical $1! I had to snap a picture, so I could remember the exhaustion!

Owen and Charlie were exhausted too. Neither of them made it through this meal. They both fell asleep, eating, in their high chairs.

First bath in our new house!

The first day in our new house, Scott and I spent the entire day putting together beds. That may seem like an exaggeration, but nope! We put together 6 beds, and it was exhausting! The kids were all VERY happy to have beds again, and Harper slept in a big bed for the first time!
