Green Beans
Macey has always loved green beans! The other day at dinner, Scott and I got really into our conversation, and I totally wasn't paying attention to Macey. Scott and I glanced over to see Macey had grabbed the green beans and bacon, and she was eating the rest of the beans out of the bowl with the spoon. She is definitely my daughter!
(Oh, and excuse the fact that she is shirtless. She was wearing a white shirt, and from experience, a bib just doesn't cut it when she is wearing a white!)

Mother's Day
Mother's Day this year...was definitely Mother's day! I was reminded over and over that I have two children. (Scott snapped this picture of Cooper and I napping before church. I sure do love this little boy.)
Our experience at church was laughable. Macey had an absolute meltdown in Sacrament meeting. I was holding a fussy Cooper, so Scott brought Macey out in the hallway. He brought her in once, and I turned around to see Scott bringing in Macey by her armpits, kicking and screaming. He ended up turning right around and leaving again.
Sometimes, I can have the mom touch and can coax Macey into doing things. Cooper started to cry, so I went out in the hallway to find Scott. Cooper calmed right down, and I switched children. Scott was able to go back into Sacrament Meeting for a few minutes...and then Cooper fell apart again. (The poor boy has been teething for a month!)
I seriously tried everything with Macey. I had M & Ms I bribed her with. I talked about the great snacks, stickers, coloring book, our kindle fire, Cooper and dad that were in Sacrament Meeting. I got her to walk back in once. She made it to the top of the aisle, sat down, and started to cry on the ground. Out to the hallway we went!
We made it back in for the closing song (with a few tears) just so I could clean up our mess.
Although Church was trying, it was a really great day. I really am so grateful that I have two beautiful, sweet children. I am so incredibly blessed to be their mother.

Yard Work
We have a lot of work to do on our yard this year. We are working as much and as hard as we can with two babes (which doesn't always seem like a lot!).
Scott tilled a spot for our garden in April!
Right behind our house we have about 8 feet (in width) of gravel. The weeds had overtaken this area by May--measuring about a foot high! I literally spent 4 hours one Saturday weeding it! Every body part was sore the next day! (Notice Scott mowing the lawn!)
When I worked at Wal-Mart in 2007, I got a free grill...which has been in the box since then! Scott finally pulled it out and put it together for me! (Macey helped too!) We have grilled a couple times now, and we love it.
One of the first things we put outside to make our yard look prettier was this planter. After our original pansies didn't last the winter, we bought more from Home Depot and are trying again! This is one of my favorite parts of the yard.
We finished removing all the rocks around Scott's shed, and he is starting to fence off the area around it. Macey helped Scott with the hammer work!
When it comes to yard work, a lot of Macey's time is spent laughing, running around the yard :)
Other times, Macey likes to help me weed. (In case anyone was wondering, gravel and weeds are a horrible, horrible combination!)
The last big project we have attempted is to edge our lawn! We bought all the edging from Home Depot, and they shipped it to our home. We spent an entire Saturday outside, and we didn't even get halfway done with it! Macey helped fill dirt. She also spent some time coloring with dad, and Cooper spent some time on a blanket, under an umbrella! (This was definitely one of those times it was harder to get things done with two kids!)

Cousins!
I have mentioned a few times that Julie and her girls flew out from Minnesota. I took lots of pictures of our three girls playing together, so I decided to just put them in one big blog post!
Macey and Cooper were surprisingly awake and happy when Amy, Julie, and her girls got there from the airport! The girls went crazy on the front lawn with grandma! Then they headed in to play at the play kitchen downstairs.
Eden wanted to play birthday party on Sunday (because we had some balloons leftover from Julie's birthday). It was Sunday afternoon, though, and poor grandpa needed his afternoon nap. We looked up to find him celebrating like this!
The girls loved playing on Grandpa's swing set. Macey especially loved the sandbox! Eden and Macey spent a lot of time in there together. Whenever we were outside, that's where she would go!
There is a train that goes through my parents backyard. Macey had never been this close to it when it passes. She clung to Scott's neck and watch it, intently, as it passed by!
Before we left one night, we decided to put all the girls in Grandma's bathtub. She has a big tub with jets (and we added bubbles!), and the girls went crazy!
Cooper and Scott chilled together the whole time! Poor Cooper needs a little boy to bond with too...Scott will have to do for now! (I love that Macey has Eden and Alice!)
We had a Sanpete day! We needed to get out turkey taco fix (although, none of us got turkey tacos...). Afterward, Grandpa headed back to work, and the girls headed off to shop. Cooper had a meltdown in Down East outlet. Grandma pulled him out, sat on the ground by the dressing rooms, and rocked him to sleep! On the way back to Monroe, we stopped at my favorite drink shack--Sip It! They have a Dirty Dr. Pepper (Dr. Pepper with Coconut...I get Diet DP and Sugar Free Coconut syrup. Scott thinks I suck the fun out of the drink!) I got Macey a small Sprite Zero. She loved it! Drank it. Then collapsed until Monroe!
Amy, Julie, and the girls came down to Monroe for the day! Grandma sent coloring books for each of the girls. Macey loved it! She has colored every page in that book, and there is at least one sticker per page!
We went over to Grandpa and Grandma's house for one last fun day before Julie and the girls left town! They girls spent all afternoon outside in the water (and Macey in the sandbox too!). So fun! (Oh, and I love this first picture. It makes me laugh every time I see it!)
