Christmas Morning!!

The kids were so excited for Christmas morning! Both of the kids' rooms branch off from the family room. We were nervous about them coming out in the middle of the night, so we childproof locked their bedroom doors. We heard them wake up, and Scott blindfolded Cooper and ran him into the girls' room. Then they all came out together. Macey was awake before the rest of them, and as you can see, she spent a little bit of time at her jewelry box before she came out. :)

Jemma loved opening presents. It's a good thing that we had a few gifts for the whole Bagley family...because she had a hard time waiting for her turn to unwrap a present again!

We knew money was going to be really tight this Christmas. It has been a rough several months for our little family! About 4 months ago, I started taking surveys at night time. Scott was working on graduate school, and I worked on surveys. I slowly earned money to spend on Amazon, and we were able to get by for Christmas.

I was worried that what we did wasn't enough--I mean, Santa can make any toy in the world, but this mom can't take all thee surveys in the world! But I think Christmas morning was a hit! Macey got an Elsa barbie doll and Cooper got a Hulk Smash action figure...they were in heaven!

Santa brought us a box of Russell Stovers chocolate. While Scott went and showered, the kids got a little restless, so we decided to open them up and try one. Jemma was not very happy when I took them away.

We ate breakfast, and then we opened out stockings. Waiting for stockings was awesome because the kids were just as excited for them as all the other presents.

We got the kids ready for the day, and then we headed to Moroni for Christmas with the Bagleys! This little girl loves this van, and she didn't last too long before sleeping!

Christmas Eve!

Christmas Eve at 32 weeks pregnant is an adventure! I was on my feet most of the day, and I sure felt it by 8:00 that night! The kids had a blast, though, so that's all that matters!

Before dinner, we made sugar cookies for Santa! Sugar cookies are a bit of work, but I heard from a well-known source, that they are Santa's favorite. :)

Macey was great at cutting out cookie shapes. Cooper put chunks of cookie dough on to the pan. When asked what shape a certain cookie was, Cooper responded, "Cookie Dough". He then sat and explained how a blob of dough was a snowman. Sure, I can see that bud. :)

We got a little messy, but for Santa, the mess is worth it! :)

While the cookies cooked and cooled, we watched "The Polar Express" and had popcorn!

Once the cookies were cool, we had to decorate them!

We have a tradition that Frosty the Snowman leaves the kids pajamas on the front porch. He rings the doorbell, leaves the presents and he is gone like a flash!

I heard that Frosty got a great deal on Christmas fabric, so He was able to sew matching jammies for the kids. You know, rumor on the street. :)

CHRISTMAS!!!!

Family selfie!

With our new jammies on, and tummies full of dinner, we went out to see Christmas lights!! Macey hates car rides, so we didn't last as long as I would have liked but we saw lights! We came home and set up cookies and milk for Santa...and then, sleep!!
