Pumpkin Carving!

For Family Home Evening this past Monday, we decided to carve pumpkins. We let the kids draw faces on their pumpkins, scrape out the seeds, and then dad helped to carve them out. The kids were all pretty excited to be listening to Halloween music and carving Jack-o-Lanterns!

Macey did NOT like the stuff in the middle of the pumpkins. We watched her pump herself up enough to stick her hand inside. Haha...she is a funny girl!

BYU Football!!

I have a husband who loves football, and this poor guy married a girl who hadn't seen a football game when they met. In fact, the first football game I ever watched was his younger brother's high school football game. Luckily, I am starting to catch on to the rules, and I don't have to ask him so many questions anymore!

For Scott's birthday in August, I thought the perfect gift would be for him to attend a football game! I went online and found probably the cheapest game--because no one knows who Wagner is--and I bought the tickets.

We were able to leave our kids with Scott's parents, and we took off for Provo! My parents are season ticket holders, so they told us we should find a free parking spot on University Avenue and just walk to the stadium. It took about 30 minutes to find a spot, but with Scott's parking skills, we parked and made it just in time!

I'll admit...I still don't know (or don't care...did I say that?!) too much about football, but I know Scott does so I was excited for this experience. Because I wasn't too invested, I really didn't pay too much attention to where the seats were when I bought them. We got to the stadium, and we just stood there when we realized how awesome our seats were! We were first row in the end zone (and the tickets were really cheap...). We got there right when BYU scored their first touchdown...literally 10 feet in front of us!! It was amazing!

Scott thought we might be on TV, so when we got home, he rewatched the game, and he found us cheering for this first touchdown!

The game started at 1:00, and we decided we were going to eat lunch in the stadium. Scott was so enthralled, I went and found the Dickies BBQ stand to get some pork sandwiches and drinks without him. The sun was really out and hot. We both got a little sunburned, so right before the first half, we went to get a cougar tail and get out of the sun! A cougar tail is a giant maple bar that we didn't mind sharing!

BYU were kicking Wagner's trash, so the game lost interest close to the end of the 3rd quarter--plus we were getting pretty sunburned! We decided to wait for one more touch down and then we left! This was the last picture from the game...and this was how close we were to the field/players! TOUCHDOWN!

Family Pictures!

We went back to Moroni the next week, and Scott took our family pictures at the Opera House. We went early in the morning. It was SO cold, and Jemma was holding on by a thread. Thankfully, with the help of almost an entire bag of marshmallows, we survived--with some smiles!

Homecoming Sunday!

A couple months ago, Jake sent home fabric from Africa for everyone to make something--maybe for homecoming Sunday. Our little family got a couple yards of fabric, so I got to sewing! It was fun having matching kids on Sunday--they all looked so cute, we had to take pictures!

After Jake's Homecoming talk, we headed to the opera house for a family and friends luncheon! I didn't get to pull my camera out until the very end, so pretend there are more tables and people! :)

Moroni with Family!

It was so great getting our Uncle Jake back home, but it was also a lot of fun playing with cousins! There are 3 cousins about the same age--Hannah, Jemma and Spencer, and it was fun to see them travel as a pack by the last day together!

Cooper talked for almost a whole day about going on a four-wheeler ride with "Un-tle Jayte". He has told us several times that "Un-tle Jayte is his best friend".

Cooper's drink just tasted so much better than hers! She looked so cute I couldn't stop her from drinking it!

Spencer loves "Signing Time"! Our kids have never watched it before, but two minutes of "Signing Time" had the whole crew signing and Spencer looking on. :)

I didn't realize how much Jemma looked like a Christensen until I saw these pictures!

I loved watching these three eat together. It was a bit surreal to watch them and know they are mine!

This is the teddy bear that Uncle Kevin had as a baby. Cooper loved it, and he walked around with it for several days. Holly got this picture and sent it on--melt my heart!

The Three Musketeers! They pushed around these stools for three days straight!
