Last Day of the Disney Cruise!

Our last day on our Disney Cruise was a day at sea! We lived in our swim suits all day, and it was the best last day! Sodas and ice creams whenever we wanted! 

Nemo's Splash Pad is a splash kid on the main deck for small kids. Any one under the age of 5 could go play with their parents close by!

Dinner that night was at Animator's Palate! It was my favorite dinner venue! We had dinner with an interactive Crush (from Finding Nemo) and he was so funny!

Charlie's big purchase of the trip were these Star Wars figuirines! He still plays with them! It was fun to watch these boys play before bed!

After the boys were asleep, Scott sneaked into the girls' room, and we enjoyed a little sparkling cider and chocolates before bed! Happy last night!

We disembarked early the next morning, and we said good bye to our cousins. We rode 2 different Ubers back to the Orlando Airport! By the time we made it through security, we had experienced complete chaos! I bent down to put on my shoe and found a penny!

After a quick lunch at the airport, we found our gate and a little corner to sit in. Kindles were played until boarding, and we made it back home to SLC!

Disney Cruise, Lookout Cay!

This was probably my favorite day of the whole vacation! We ported at Disney's Lookout Cay. Disney owns this island, and it has been completely done to be family friendly, and culturally friendly. It offers a true bohemian experience!

We decided it would be faster to order room service to our room that morning (because it's included in our price), so the girls ate together in their room, and the boys are in their room!

We tried to get off the boat as soon as we could! There is a pier that is about 3/4 mile to the island. We walked there, but then we rode a golf cart back to the boat! 

Once we made it across the pier, there was a depot where a cart brought us to the shoreline!

The shoreline was beautiful! The water was so blue and clear! I had never seen ocean water that looked like that before! We went in January, but the weather was perfect! We weren't too hot, and the ocean water was still warm. We didn't worry about sun all day, but the kids got to have fun playing in the warm water--we couldn't have planned it better!

We spent the entire day at the beach! We brought sand toys with us. We left with just enough time to get back on the boat and shower before dinner!

We ate lunch all together at these huts! The food was DELICIOUS! Caribbean themed foods with soda and ice cream machines on tap! Everything we ate on the island was included, too!

After lunch, we went back to the beach!

For years, Scott had dreamed about sitting in a chair on the shoreline and just feeling the waves come in--that's true relaxation!

We spent a little bit of time at the kids' splash pad on the island, too! (There was even a kids' club on the island that we could check our kids in and out of!)

We got back on the boat, and we quickly showered and got ready for pirate night! Everyone got a free pirate bandana souvenier, and we brought some other pirate gear to decorate with!

After dinner, everyone was EXHAUSTED! A day in the sun and sand, a resturant for dinner, and a play to watch--these boys were ALL DONE by the end! We all slept really soundly this night!
