A lot has happened the last month. I just realized that the last time we posted pictures was Christmas. This is what we have been up to!
In the end of December, Scott and I moved in to a 2 bedroom apartment. We just moved a building over, so it wasn't a huge move! I am in love with all the space. At first, we had planned to have the baby in our 1 bedroom apartment. The perfect opportunity opened up to move into this apartment, so Scott and I sat down and crunched the numbers.
Baby Bagley was a surprise to both mom and dad! We had talked about the idea of starting a family. We sat down and figured out budget, insurance, school, and work. Literally as soon as we decided it was something we could possibly do in the near future, we found out I was pregnant. We just figured that the Lord wanted to let us know that we could do it before we found out we were pregnant!
Because the baby came sooner than anticipated, Scott and I have cut back our budget and began to save! We are slowly making/accumulating things for Baby Girl Bagley, so we can make sure that we will be able to survive until Scott graduates and a little after (let's face it. Jobs are not easy to come by!)
In January, Scott and I received a bonus from work, so we decided it was time to get the essential baby things! We hit some amazing after christmas sales, and we are definitely stocked up. We have a few other things here and there to buy, but we have the essentials...I think :)
The Craze. This need to stay in budget has motivated me to go back to the basics. One of the things we purchased with our bonus was this:

Then it opens up :) I love, love, love this table! It was worth every penny. I have been sewing like crazy, and I have been crafting up a storm on this table!
I am addicted to finding craft tutorials online. If you know of any good crafting blogs, send them my way! I honestly think I am addicted. I get this thrill when I look at crafts. It's a great feeling to look at something and think, "I could totally do that!" Haha...poor Scott. I spend all my free time crafting!
Project number one: A quilt for Baby Girl Bagley! I have had a stash of fabric waiting to make a quilt, and I decided that the material was perfect for a little girl. For my last birthday my mom got me a huge pack of batting, and Julie got me a rotary cutter, rotary mat, and a big ruler. I had everything I needed in my hands! The only thing I needed to find was a pattern. I went to
http://www.modabakeshop.com/. They have a plethora of ideas! I saw a picture, and I decided I could make a quilt like that. I went to measuring!

Project number 2 was to make burp cloths!
I knew I needed flannel for burp cloths, so I had been on the look out for it! Flannel is pretty pricey (okay, I'm just REALLY cheap). One night at Wal-Mart I was going through the discount fabric bins, and I watched a girl walk up. She put these 2 bags in the bins. I saw they both had quite a bit of fabric in them, so I picked them up. There were pieces of flannel in each bag--probably 5-7 pieces per bag. Each bag cost $1.00 each. I haven't moved that quickly in my life! I grabbed them! Some of the material Scott and I thought was a little strange, but the rest we figured we could use! Plus, burp cloths are used to clean up spit up...so... :)
Project 3! I need serious decorating help! I decided that I could be thrifty and crafty with decorations too. I found this tutorial for mosaic wall art, and I have been planning on doing this for a while now.
It's been a little slow at work, so we have been cleaning out some things. We are also in the middle of replacing all the carpet, so there is organizing to be done. The property we help to manage was built in 2005, under different owners. To be honest, they had some strange/creepy ideas of art. As soon as new management came in to play, the creepy wall art was taken down and placed in a closet. The art has been in the closet for a while. In the process of cleaning up and out, I got a few frames. They DEFINITELY needed some sprucing up, but me and spray paint have become good friends :)
I cut up 1" squares and mod podged my way through this project. I was pretty impressed with myself!
That's all the crafting I've done, but I have got SEVERAL ideas already in the works as well! Is crafting a part of nesting...? Because I think I am totally there!
In other news, we ordered a crib! It is beautiful, and it totally makes the second bedroom feel like the baby's room! On the website, it said that the crib took about 5 hours to put together. It took Scott and I 2.5 hours. Haha...something like this could definitely test a marriage! We figured other couples had to pause to argue in between...that's why it took them 5 hours.

Yes, we now know what the definition of spoiled is. It's so much more fun buying clothes for her than for me. Obviously, right? If it helps, the top shelf are Scott and I's things and the bottom is all furniture :)
I was hesitant to put this picture up, but this is the latest and greatest of me! I am 19 1/2 weeks. It's crazy to think that I am a few days away from being half way there!
Don't worry. Scott is still helping me fulfill my cravings! Last night was hotfudge sundae night:
Phew, did you make it? That was a long blog post! Other than all of this, we are doing well! Scott has backed down to part time work, and he is going to school at BYU-Idaho full time. We are adjusting to life and learning to enjoy all the moments we get to spend together!
(Does anyone know why it always duplicates pictures? I can't figure out how to delete them once they are duplicated, so I'd appreciate help with that too!)
Scott and I had a budget, and we decided to do our own Christmas this year before we went down to see family! Growing up, I always got pajama pants on Christmas Eve, so I bought some cheap material and made Scott and I matching ones!
Christmas Eve, December 22nd, we ate Christmas goodies, got in our new PJs and watched "It's a Wonderful Life" and "White Christmas". We woke up early Christmas morning (December 23rd) and unwrapped presents. It snowed the night before, so as soon as Christmas was over, Scott had to go shovel snow for the apartment complex. We left to head down to Utah soon after that!
