24th of July!

Monroe has a big 24th of July parade and carnival! My kids came home from the parade with SO much candy and swag! We had Grandma Bagley come experience the parade with us! It was a fun day for all!

This year, our seminary celebrates 100 years of seminary! The seminary council had a float in the parade, so we had to take a quick picture!

After the parade we went home for a quick sandwich, and then we went to the carnival for Jemma and Harper to dance with the Mini Drill team. (Both girls were really excited and they did such a great job!)

After the performance, we came home for some snacks

We tried to get a picture of everyone with a lit sparkler at the same time--that was harder than we expected!!

Grandma's Backyard!

In July, we had the chance to go work on Grandma Bagley's backyard! It was a hot July day, but it didn't take long for storm clouds to roll in to provide cloud cover and a light rain to kick in. It felt like Grandpa Bagley gave us the perfect weather to work on their backyard. We worked all day long, and they kids were so good to jump in and help!
