Dentist Appointments!

We all had dentist appointments the first day of summer break at 8:00 AM (when I woke up that morning, I instantly regretted that decision!).

Cooper and Jemma had great visits (complete with Jemma asking the dental hygenist if her xrays were stickers and asking if she could take them home!). Poor Macey has cavities--along with her mom and dad. Bummer.

Quinn and The Avengers

Quinn took my shoes and made spaceships for his Avenger action figures. He even made spaceship noises--cute boy!

Last Day of 1st Grade!

Macey had her last day of First Grade! She only went to school until 10:50, but she was so excited to go socialize for a couple hours!

I got her ready to go, but she kept insisting that I needed to take her picture with a sign that said it was her last day of school. I kept brushing it off until her dad made her sign. She looks pretty adorable, right?!

Mrs. Mecham sent us a picture of her class on the last day of school! (Who is that cute girl in the front row?!)

Cooper's Last T-ball Game!

We had Cooper's last T-ball game, and it was as entertaining as usual! I am already excited for him to play next year! (Now to figure out how he really wants to bat and throw a ball--left hand or right hand?!)

Grandpa and Grandma Christensen Come to Softball!

My parents came down for one of Macey's softball games! She played a great game. She is so tough! She accidentally hit her knuckles when she was up to bat, but she did a really good job at holding back the tears for a little bit. I am sure it hurt, though! I could hear it hit from about 50 feet away!

After her game, we went to Bullies to get ice cream to celebrate! Here is the group!

Interestingly, earlier that day, Macey wrote a paper about an ice cream she would make, if she could, and she wanted to make peaches and cream. Of course, we had to get her a peaches and cream shake to try. She told us it was all it was cracked up to be!

A Little Bit of Lucy!

Lucy has a pack-n-play in our room still (well, she did until yesterday!). We moved her down to her crib, but it was nice to have for nap time--protect her from all the loudness and craziness from her siblings!

One of my favorite things was to be there when she woke up. She would roll over on her tummy and pop her head up looking for someone!

Sleepy baby in Relief Society on Sunday!

Lucy is finally scooting around (mainly backward). If I am on the floor, she scoots to me, and she tried climbing up on my lap. It doesn't take long for me to scoop her up!

The hard part about scooting backward is getting stuck...

Good thing mom rescues us and gives us some toys to play with!

Oh, and one more picture with her big, big brother!

Lucy in Stripes!

It was a little chilly outside, so Lucy got to sport her leg warmers. She was one stripey girl!

End of School!

Macey creates constantly! It was not a surprise to find a note for her teacher or her friend in her backpack. This note appeared the last week of school, and it made me giggle. I had to take a picture!

Sleeping Lucy. She puts up with so much, and she is such an angel baby.

This certificate is showing that Macey passed 1st grade! She did really well on her end of year testing--so proud of this girl! She got this certificate signed by the principal and her teacher.

Quinn is obsessed with bugs. He isn't to the point where he likes to pick them up or touch them--which is totally fine with me!! But he likes to sit back and watch them. He watched these ants for a solid hour--no joke!

We are creating a rock area in our backyard, and luckily for us, we kind of live at the basin of a mountain! We are making the entire rock area from rocks found back there. We have found 6 pieces of petrified wood, and Macey found this geode in our backyard!

Scott went to a Priest overnight activity with the boys from Monroe 4th Ward. A couple of the priests are graduating this year. Scott's first calling in the 4th Ward was Deacon's Quorum Advisor--over these two boys. Now they are graduated and both have their mission calls.

To keep ourselves entertained, we started the afternoon by McDonalds ice cream cones! We even got the big ones--which the kids were more than a little excited about!

We bounced it our with whole wheat waffles and fruit for dinner.

Quinn. This kid has me wrapped around his finger! He absolutely loves watermelon!!

We got a few pictures from Scott throughout the trip. They went catfishing late at night, and Scott caught the biggest fish of all!

The boys went and did a couple escape rooms in Provo!

Quinn and I the next morning. We may have still been in bed when the boys were all being productive and going to the Provo City Center Temple.

This little one took a quick nap before Dad got home--then she was ready to play with her favorite person!
