Engagement Pictures!

Guess what today is? Yep, exactly 2 months until Scott and I get married--wahoo! :) A few weeks ago we somehow convinced Emily, Scott's sister, to take our engagement pictures. She was absolutely wonderful! She had scouted out the area and had a lot of fun places. Here are a few pictures to get a preview :)

and this is the winner!

Help!

So, I am new to this whole blogging thing. :) I have been trying to change my picture at the top, and every picture I change it to it's blown up...like it is above. Help! Can anyone more experienced tell me how I can change it so it fits?

Singin' in the Rain

This weekend was so fun! Scott and I had planned for a while to go up north to Lehi (go REALLY north) to go see the Lehi Art Council's musical "Singin' in the Rain". We ate a quick dinner at Arctic Circle (Scott called it arsenic circle...but it really wasn't that bad :) ) and then headed to the play.

If you haven't seen the movie "Singin' in the Rain" with Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds, go rent it...now. :) It is worth the money. At the part in the movie where Gene Kelly dances and sings "Singin' in the Rain", in the play, "real" rain falls on the stage and he dances and kicks around the water. (In fact, the people in the first two rows had to wear ponchos.) Scott and I were both in to the play the whole time. We quickly fell in love with the play again and decided we would go back in a heartbeat!

Scott and I before the musical...

This is at intermission where they literally vacuumed up the "real" rain water!

this wasn't the real light post used in the play, but we had to get a pose, nonetheless! SO fun! Go rent the movie. Again, I promise it's worth it!

The Countdown

Oh...it's been a while. Both Scott and Lisa have been sick (Lisa is still sick...), so I haven't felt much like doing anything :)

June 26th. Oh...June 26th. The wedding day. It seems like ages away! Scott and I decided one night a couple of weeks ago that a countdown was in order! We made this super sweet paper chain to count down...notice the temple by day one? A little motivation :)

and here is us!

When we made the chain we had 86 days, and because I have been lazy, today, it is 74 days--whoot whoot! It's totally crazy to think I'll be married in 74 days and then again it can't come fast enough. Maybe it's the organizational part of me, but I love ripping off chain everyday--I feel like I am accomplishing something great (it's kind of like crossing things off a to do list :))! Anyway, now everyone in the blogging world knows about our awesome countdown, and we are only 74 days away. Oh, June 26th...we are anxiously awaiting you! Come soon, okay? :)
