Oh my gosh, it was a rough night! We have had several good nights in a hotel...so I guess it was our turn for a terrible one! Quinn wet the bed, and he was up crying several times. That caused Lucy to wake up crying. She has a nasty habit of pushing in the nipple of her bottle, and she did it to a full bottle of milk...dumping the milk all over her, her pajamas and her bedding!
Scott spent the night with Quinn, and I had Lucy! He snuck in at 5:00 in the morning to get this picture! She is wearing an outfit (because I only brought one pair of pajamas for her) and she is sleeping with me because I had clean sheets and I just couldn't get her settled down!
We had to take a "we survived!" picture the next morning! (Lucy was in the far corner of the room sleeping in her pack-n-play.)

We surprised the kids with a trip to the Clark Planetarium! It was free admission--just $1 to park in the parking garage. We also got to see a Christmas Light show in the round theatre!

They had a fun video game, where you stood on a certain place on the floor, and your arm becomes the laser to blast meteorites!

They had a model of a meteor that you could pick up. It was a lot heavier than any of us thought! (Macey agrees!)
They had a green screen where you could pick a planet background, and you could then offer a planetary weather report. As you could guess, Macey was more than a little into it! The other kids were more than happy to join in!
They had a station where you could smell what other planets smell like. We all agreed that we will stick with earth--it was the best smelling!!
At our light show! It was a little intense! They had classic holiday songs put to videos with lasers and even a fog machine! The seats all reclined, and we were told that everyone had to lay back the entire time, or she would turn off the show. Yeah, good luck telling Quinn and Lucy they had to lay flat on their backs for 30 minutes! (And no food or drinks...or bottles.) Ha! Scott wrestled Quinn, and I was able to bribe Lucy. It was a long 30 minutes, but the older kids loved it, so it was totally worth it!
Every time you walked on the lights, the lights would bend.
They had a play area for the kids. Quinn may have gotten stuck in the top of the rocket, and he freaked out and then crawled back down! He played with Lucy for the rest of the time!
After we were done at the Planetarium, we took the whole family out to lunch! We wanted to try something fun and new--so we took everyone to JCW's! Each kids got a chicken tender kid's meal and a mini shake. Their food comes in giant portions! We ate until we were stuffed!
We went home after that! Poor Cooper caught up on sleep on the way home. Thankfully, his big sister didn't mind him laying in her space--this time, anyway!
