A New Girls' Room!

The downstairs of our house is awesome. It is the kids area, and it is so nice for them to have their own space! Things have been a little disjointed down there, and our toy room/craft room/Lucy's room has been the catch all for everything! It is the smallest room in the house, and it had so much stuff in it!!

My dad has been doing really well since his bone marrow transplant, and he finally got the okay to woodwork again. He was so excited, and he volunteered to make a set of bunk beds for me (for the boys' room)! We decided then to shake things up downstairs.

We were getting close to my dad being done with the beds, so we decided to paint the girls' new room and create their own space.

The girls moved into the boys' room! I painted the room this tan color for the boys...and I hated it as soon as I painted it! Scott asked me if I would be painting it again...and I told him "yep...but give me a couple years". 20 months later it got a face lift! I absolutely love how it turned out!

(Being the girls were moving into their own room, I thought Jemma deserved her own nightstand. Luckily, we were able to find one at DI. I sanded it down and painted it for Jemma. Totally worth it!)

Quinn!

The day after our big vacation, we decided to spend the afternoon outside. I spent some time weeding the garden, and then I took a rest on the chair. Quinn is a bit of a loner outside--he could care less if he plays with someone. I watched him for about 30 minutes, wandering from one thing to the next. I sat down in the this chair to rest. He wandered over to me, climbed up on my lap and IMMEDIATELY fell asleep.

Macey's last softball game! Quinn was on one that night, and he didn't want to leave his brother alone. This picture melts my heart!

Bagley Family Reunion, Saturday (and Sunday)!

Saturday morning started off with driving to Manti for breakfast and Dave and Emily's new house!

From Manti we headed to Palisades. This is super close to us (a little over an hour away) but this is the first time we went there! The water was cold, and the shore was rocky, but we all had so much fun!

Grandpa and Grandma Bagley were so good to watch the babies while we played. We thought for sure Lucy would sleep, but I think she knew we were somewhere different and fun.

So...Lucy came to play instead!

But she didn't like the rocky sand and cold water very much...

Jemma was cold most of the time! She spent a lot of time buddled up on the shore.

Dave and I swam out to the dock and jumped in! 

Big props to Aunt Holly who kept the kids entertained with swedish fish while we cleaned things up.

There was a restaurant over by the golf course that we all ate lunch at! Our little family thought it was pretty good food!

When we got back to The Bagleys house, the rest of the cousins were there. Grandma and Grandpa had more fun things for them to do--starting with sprinklers and water balloons.

For the next activity, Marilyn bought white t-shirts for all the kids. They all got to design their own t-shirts and color them with fabric markers.

After dinner that night, we cooked s'mores over the fire pit!

Jemma loves her cousin Hannah, and she was SO sad when Hannah had to leave to go home. She is counting down days to the 4th of July when she can she her again!

It was a long weekend that produced 5 exhausted kiddos--it was a reunion success!
