January Memories!

These two don't get along very often, but they were sitting on the couch reading Cooper's Lego magazine together and it was super cute!

Chocolate pudding!

Macey lost two more teeth!! She lost her bottom canine teeth. We knew they would come out soon--because of her x-ray at the dentist office. Her adult teeth were coming in. (They don't usually come in until a kid is about 11!) She lost the teeth one day apart...kind of crazy!

Fancy Lucy! This little girl loves jewelry. If she finds it on the ground, it is hers!

Sleepy Lucy. I sure love this sleepy baby!

Cute kids!

Macey had her first day of activity days, and she loved it! I can't believe she is old enough to go--where did my little Macey go?!

Quinn helped to make brownies!

Macey gets super sassy in the afternoons. Whenever I remind her to read for 20 minutes (part of her homework), she always protests and tells me she hates reading. Psh. I know she doesn't mean it! Every quiet minute, she is reading a new book. This book is probably her favorite, though! I think she has read it at least 5 times! I found it on her nightstand, when I was cleaning her room. It so bent, and ddit is so very loved. I think Junie B. Jones is Macey's soul sister!

Come, Follow Me

Our family has had so much fun implementing the new "Come Follow Me" curriculum! Scott and I plan a week in advance. Each Saturday, we have a sit down talk where we discuss the curriculum and then we make a lesson plan for the week. We figure our kids aren't able to do the personal studies on their own, so we divide up the personal study and do a little bit every night!

On this night, we were teaching the kids about the 4 gospels in the New Testament. We had each kid hold a prop and tell us about one of the gospels and their authors.

Jemma was Luke, a physician
Macey was John, a fisherman
Cooper was Matthew, a tax collector
Quinn was Mark, a missionary

Macey's New Year's Party!

Macey's Second Grade Class had a New Year's Party, and she came home with a list of New Year's Resolutions. It is so fun to see Macey grow up and have her own goals and resolutions!

A Tired Quinn

Some days, Quinn can make it without a nap, but most days, this sweet little boy still needs one. In the first picture, Dad ran home from work to grab something, and he wasn't ready to send him back yet--poor kid! And the second picture is later that day.

A Typical Afternoon!

We had a fun afternoon filled with chocolate pudding (vanilla for Jemma), play-doh, building blocks, and playing peek-a-boo with Lucy!

A Sick Lucy

Lucy has had a bad cold since Christmas! (And I am writing this at the end of January!) I am fairly confident that it's just been a string of different colds, but this girl just can't catch a break! We had a mid-afternoon bath and nap to help us feel better!

A Birthday Visit!

The day after Cooper's birthday, my parents came to visit. They took us out to a birthday lunch with Cooper (to Costa Vida!) and then we came home for presents and cupcakes. It was a fun visit!

Cooper's 6th Birthday!

I can't believe Cooper is 6 years old! I am not sure what it is about this boy, but I have an emotional time dealing with all his milestones! He was SO excited for his birthday, and he had a fun day!

Let's just say...Lucy liked the balloons!

This year, we took an idea from my sister, and Cooper got a can of pringles and a box of juice boxes for his birthday! He could eat them how ever quickly he wanted and whenever he wanted. It was awesome! Cooper loved it! (And the kid drank 7 juice boxes and ate 3/4 can of pringles in the first day--I would call that a success! Ha!)

For breakfast we had orange juilius' and homemade doughnut muffins!

Cooper chose McDonalds for his birthday lunch! The kids hardly ever get happy meals, so that was his only request--oh, and to play in the play place. Happy kids all around.

Right after lunch, we went to the movie theatre to see "Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse". The kids LOVED it! Oh, Quinn loved it...until he fell asleep on me.

Cooper's cake was one of the classic, Lisa, pinterest-fails. Ha! I am not a cake decorator, but Cooper loved it! (It is a blue lego block!)
