Bagley Family Reunion

 We ran straight from Bryce Canyon to go to our Bagley Family Reunion! Our family from Nebraska came out for a visit, and it was good to spend time all together!

We took a grand kid picture in 2019,  and we thought it would be fun to recreate 5 years later! The number of grandkids has grown since then, but here they are, oldest to youngest!

The first week in August, we always have a meeting for Seminary Teachers and their spouses/friends. We were able to get away while Grandma watched the 8 kids at home! 

We had a catered BBQ dinner in Tropic, and it was delicious!

We came back to find a penny on the ground right outside of our hotel room!

Two days worth of classes, fun conversations, and uninterrupted conversations is always a good idea! I looked forward to these meetings every year!

After 8:30, entrance into the parks is free, so we drove to Sunset Pointe at Bryce Canyon for the sunset--it was perfect! That red rock is so beautiful!

July Summary!

Harper and Charlie are great buds! (Honestly, they probably play more together than Harper and Owen do!) It warmed my mom heart to see them napping together one afternoon!

A couple pictures that didn't make it onto my 4th of July post, but I want them to have a place here! The kids and their cousins!

I feel like the notes that Lucy makes for herself on her wall allow me to see into her heart. She put these here to help her fall asleep. "Say a Prayer, The Lord loves Lucy, everyone loves you, close your eyes, it will be okay."

Once again, our Papa-Murphys-free-pizza-per-month! We used the free pizza, one very long day...followed by one very long night. As Scott hopped out of the car, we found a handful of change on the ground. Not only did Grandpa Bagley get us dinner that night, he also put a little bit of money into 4 kids' mission banks.

At girl's camp, I sent all the girls home with two "Christ Aid Kits", and I challenged them to give one away and keep the other for themselves. Macey decided she wanted to give her extra one to a girl in her grade whose dad died last school year. I was so impressed with her bravery that I snapped a picture of her note before we went and dropped it off!

One of the cool things the kids took home from the elementary school was coupons for 5 free kids meal lunches from Arbys. We were able to go a few times and use all the coupons! It was such a fun way to get out and do something fun this summer!

Cooper has been a great help in my garden this year! He found this massive zucchini that got a little hidden in our garden!

I found these chairs on the side of the road with a free sign attached to them! I fixed up the paint and cleaned the cushions! (Also, check out Scott's new painting in the background!)

Lucy made this at church! I loved the last step--"time to grow"!

We got to go to grandma's house, clean up her back yard a little bit and put together this jungle gym!

Charlie went and put himself to sleep after church one Sunday!

Summer trips to the library!

Owen got a new (to him) Creature Power Suit (from Wild Kratts). He played HARD as a Kratt Brother, and then we found him tuckered out on his bed!

Our food bank was giving away extra apples! We ate some and then used the rest to make applesauce!

These boys looked forward to dad pushing them on the swings almost every day of summer!

The kids also loved walking/running/riding their bikes around the high school track!

Harper tripped going up our back steps and smacked her cute little forehead on the concrete! This one left a mark for a little while!

One Sunday before church, Charlie looked so cute, I had to take a picture!

I got to slip away and donate power red cells to The American Red Cross!

Ugh...we had so many kids step on wasps this year! We quickly made a rule that everyone had to have good shoes on their feet at all times! Quinn was stung, and his foot doubled in size and itched like crazy for several days. We had to get him on a steroid to help him get better!
