Quinn Lost his 5th Tooth!

Quinn lost his 5th tooth! He is almost caught up to Jemma and Cooper! Quinn is so brave. He wiggles until it is almost out, and then he walks up to Scott and asks him to pull it! Another one bites the dust! Go Quinn!!

Celebrating Jemma's 1/2 Birthday!

Jemma got to celebrate her half birthday at school! She was SO excited to be the line leader all week. Getting this Sprite and straw was the icing on the cake! Happy 7 1/2 Birthday Jemma Lou!

Charlie Hates Baby Food!

Charlie hates baby food. He is so good at avoiding it. We have tried everything. He hated fruits, vegetables, and any sort of combination. Charlie was a pretty colic-y baby, and he has an excellent gag reflex. I know he had a texture problem, but no matter what we did, he finally got to the point that he just wouldn't try any more!

One day, we attempted feeding in these Bumbo chairs. Owen loved it. Charlie wasn't having it--and he let me know it! Haha! Poor kid!

Best Friends!

The Boys Try Rice Crackers

The boys tried teething rice crackers-a big milestone for all of our kids. Like our other kids, they were immediate hits!

My Drivers

Macey's Science Experiment

Macey's teacher challenged her students to go home, create a hypothesis and conduct an experiment. Macey hypothesized that she could stack 50 cheerios. We soon discovered that stacking cheerios was a lot harder than we thought! Macey's record was 12. We took pictures to document and send to her teacher!

Brother WWE Match

One night, I caught Cooper and Quinn wrestling with Owen. Owen thought it was the great thing! It made my mom heart swell to see them play together!

Harper's New Bed!

This cool chick decided she was too cool for her crib. She had been occasionally jumping out of the side of the crib. It became more frequent of an occurrence. And then, one night, she escaped from her crib 5 times. I kept hearing "thuds", when she would hit the ground. They woke me up out of sleep! That was the day I decided we were done.

We took the side off of her crib, and then I pushed Harpers crib against the closet door, flipped around her dresser and pushed it against Lucy's bed to block the toy closet. That might seem like a little extra, but I did it because I know Harper. She is a genius and likes to push boundaries. (It worked until a month later when she pushed the dresser down to get what she wanted--forward, so it was impossible for her to get hurt. We have since changed around furniture...again!)

Before her first nap, I snapped a couple really quick pictures! She has adjusted just fine since giving her a real bed!

How did Lucy and Harper's first night of sleep go? Well, that was a little more rough, as you can see. We all needed naps the next day!

Church Sleep

I hear church sleep is the best kind of sleep there is! These boys were inconsolable in Sacrament Meeting. Scott took them to priesthood with him, and they fell right asleep. Scott claimed it was the body heat and smell of old spice! (Owen on the left, Charlie on the right!)

Harper Wears a Mask!

We don't go to many places during the day, so the only real place that Harper would need to mask up is at church! Harper turned 2 years old in December, which means, she is able to wear a mask now. (Under 2 years old, scientists were afraid that masks inhibited air flow for such little kids.) She was SO excited to wear a mask like her older siblings...there is a steep learning curve to wearing it!

More Intermountain Life Flight Boys

Lucy's Preschool: January

Lucy learned about the letter "X" and pirates, of course...because "X marks the spot"! They made treasure maps and a telescope to search out the treasure!

This picture made me laugh out loud! Lucy is extremely wary of animals--all kinds. Of all my kids, she steers clear the most. The treasure ended up being in her preschool teacher's chicken coop. Lucy stood in the back and steered clear of the stray chickens.

Snowmen to help practice their first sight words!

Eskimo Lucy!

Happy New Year from Mrs. Jones' Class!

Jemma's class made fun party hats to celebrate the new year! (She is in the top left!)

Christmas Break Shenanigans!

 Surprise selfies on mom's phone!

Dress ups were a "must"!

Owen, wearing Cooper's hat!

Taking naps on dad's lap!

Owen:

Charlie, with all of his brothers stuffed animals:

I came in to find Charlie with both legs stuck through his crib--each on opposite sides!

Arts and crafts were a constant! The kids got plenty of projects, and we had some projects to be done! We did them every day!!

Lucy is the master hair dresser! She does my hair and takes pictures--constantly!
