Our UEA break started with taking our van to the shop. :) We were riding on threadbare tires, and Big O told us that we were fine to ride them around town for a little bit--but we shouldn't leave town with them. We knew we wanted to go up north for our UEA break, so we started off our morning with Big O!
While our car was in the shop, we took our stroller and walked the streets of Richfield, exploring all the shops. We stopped at Sugar Bean Bakery for cupcakes/cookies. The kids were in heaven! They were really well behaved and so excited.

Everyone had cupcakes, but Jemma insisted she wanted a cookie. Nothing new there--she wants the opposite of what everyone else has ALL THE TIME!
Quinn sure wanted a piece of Jemma's cookie. No worries, when mom and dad weren't looking, she gave him a piece. (Jemma is also the reason we know Quinn isn't allergic to peanuts. She has shared her peanut butter sandwich with him and part of her Snicker bar at Halloween. He LOVED it...and Jemma LOVED sharing with him!
Back to the Big O waiting room we went!
We went home, ate lunch, took naps, and then headed to Hansen's pumpkin patch in the afternoon!
I said, "Everyone look at me and say "EXCITED!!" " Jemma turned and looked at me and said, "excited..."
Cooper found one right away!
Quinn and dad found one for him. (That sun was bright!)
Macey had to search for a bit, but she found the perfect pumpkin!
And then...Jemma sat down. I asked what was wrong, and she said, "I sad.". I asked her why, and she told me she wanted a pink pumpkins, but all the pink pumpkins were "all gone". Luckily, we were able to find her one she could be okay with! :)
On Saturday, we headed up to Moroni to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa Bagley! Grandma Bagley spoiled the kids and not only made monster doughnuts with them, but she made Halloween sugar cookies, as well! The kids were in heaven.
Monday morning we headed to Target (mom's part of UEA break :) ). We got an ICEE and popcorn for the kids to share, and they each got to pick out something from the dollar bins.
Then...of to Chick-fil-a for lunch!
After lunch, we headed to the Bean Museum on BYU campus. Scott had gone with the Young Men a couple summers before, and he thought the kids would love it. It's a free museum, which always an added bonus! It was definitely a hit!
There were a whole bunch of animals that had been taxidermied, and Macey wasn't having any of it! She was terrified for the first ten minutes. I was laughing so hard, it was hard to get a clear picture!
On the opposite end of the spectrum...Cooper was SUPER into all the animals. He wanted to know all about every animal (he knows more animals than I do!) and Scott knew about every single animal (that's why he is lovingly referred to "Animal Planet" at our house).
One of the coolest parts (to Scott and I) in this museum was the Boyd K. Packer exhibit. They had his art work displayed--wood carvings, paintings, drawings, pictures, etc.
On the way out, we stopped at the museum gift shop. The kids were each able to pick out a little animal for $.94 each, and they played the whole way home!
Next was a trip to Sam's Club! The kids endured some grocery shopping...so we all got chocolate ice cream. (Oh, and Jemma loves her "Tinney".)
We went home after that! The next day was a laid back day. We packed a lunch and went to the park in Central Valley for some play time!
