Rockband

Jemma and Quinn formed a rockband!

Lucy in the Leaves!

At preschool, Lucy learned about the letter "L" and they got to go outside, play in the leaves, and do a leaf project! She had a blast!

Owen and Charlie and the Walker!

My mom let us borrow her walker for the boys to explore. They have been working hard at holding themselves up...we have got to work on that sitting up thing! Cute, cute boys! (Charlie is first, Owen is second!)

Trick-or-Treating!

Last year, the kids weren't able to go trick-or-treating, so they were double excited to go this year! (We felt safe because we were outdoors, and we just got over COVID and figured the antibodies were still strong with us!)

We took our normal route around the neighborhood...not a ton of candy, but the perfect short route with little kids!

We had a hippie, a zombie football player, a ballerina, The Mandalorian, a lady bug, a bumble bee, a hunter and a bear! (The hunter and the bear weren't too sure of this nighttime, cold weather adventure!)

Carving Jack-o-lanterns!

The week of Halloween, we got to carve our jack-o-lanterns! We were able to use pumpkins from our own garden, which was super cool! We blasted our Halloween play list, the kids drew faces, and then Scott helped to carve them! (Macey and Cooper carved their own this year. I'm still trying to get used to the idea of them wielding knives, but all was well!)

Halloween Parade!

Halloween this year was on a Sunday, so the kids were able to wear their costumes to school the Friday before. We had a rushed morning of getting everyone ready to go, but we made it!

Macey was a 1970s girl!

Cooper was a zombie football player!

Jemma was a ballerina!

Quinn was The Mandalorian!

Quinn's Kindergarten class!

Quinn's argyle socks peaking through his Mandalorian costume did my mom heart some good!

The tender mercy of the week was that Scott had a prep period during the parade. I wasn't sure how I was going to do the parade alone. The twins would need their own stroller, and Harper is a runner. I felt like she needed to be strapped in too. So Scott pushed a stroller, and I pushed a stroller!

I see a Mandalorian!

Jemma and her friend Remi!

Zombie Football Player!

Macey's last Halloween Parade! This was a full-circle moment for me and so surreal! I remember coming to watch her in Kindergarten. This is her 6th parade! So glad that I was able to see every single one! 💜
